For families and those who serve them

Our Families section is designed to provide information, education, resources, and support to those who have young children. Our definition of “families” includes those people who are responsible for the health and welfare of our youngest Kansans: parents; grandparents; relatives; close friends; advocates, and many more. Families are an integral part of insuring quality service provision for our young children who have, or are at risk for, developmental disabilities.
The Kansas ICC represents children and families ages 5 and under who are at risk for, or have developmental disabilities and their families. We have included many of the most important agencies and community resources for children birth to three as well as children three to five years of age. Be sure to check out each section in the age group you are interested in to see if there are additional resources that you may be able to take advantage of. The lists of resources and programs will continue to expand and change and will be updated regularly.
